Last year Brandon was required to fly back to the States for a week-long orientation in Florida. Being the nice husband that he is, he invited me to come along. I wasn’t crazy about leaving our dog Malcolm for a week, but since my legs hadn’t seen real sunshine in 6-7 months (thanks, Scotland) I was excited to spend some quality time on the beach – covered in SPF 70 (seriously, Scotland… thanks). On our way back home from Orlando to Aberdeen, B surprised me with a long layover in Paris.
