Planning a Trip to Dublin, Ireland

After a quick but somewhat terrifying flight from Aberdeen (damn you, Ryanair), we arrived in beautiful Dublin, Ireland. While we were there we visited Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral and the Guinness Storehouse. We also had a fun time walking around the Temple Bar District because there were pubs and drunks everywhere. If you’re not into drinking there are cafes, interesting stores, and musicians on the corners… plus the people-watching is worth a visit. When our pub tour ended (after we had enjoyed our pints of Guinness at the top of the storehouse… bliss), we switched gears and took a city ghost tour. It was almost as terrifying as our Ryanair flight because it took place in the dark and the guide led us through churches and ruins all over the city.
