Our stop in Tunis, Tunisia was interesting to say the least. When we arrived at the cruise port, we hopped on a tour bus to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, the blue and white city. On the way, I glanced out of the bus window and spotted a man in civilian clothing holding a machine gun on the side of a random street.  He looked at our driver and took a seat on an old, rusty folding chair. I felt uncomfortable and described what I had just seen to Brandon, but he wasn’t worried — only upset that we had missed a photo opportunity. Psshhh, men. Carthage was underwhelming after exploring the ruins in Rome, but overall, it was still a good stop. You can find some photos of the Roman Baths below.
