Elizabeth of Little Moments of Happiness planned a spectacular blogger dinner at Pasta Beach last week and let’s just say I’ve found my new go-to place for everything Italian and delicious. Pasta Beach is owned by Susie and Gianni Ropolo and most of the chefs are from Italy! Susie explained to us that she wants people to feel good after eating their food. They serve authentic Italian cuisine with all-natural, healthy ingredients so you won’t feel as bad after you’ve consumed a pile of pasta that could feed a small village. At least that’s what I told myself – “Rachel, this pasta is good for you. Enjoy”. Except I also ate two different appetizers, a pizza, chicken, and a rich dessert. Oops. Like I said, this restaurant is yummy.
Not only did I enjoy great Italian, but I also met new friends. Our group of bloggers included, Anathalia of Scavengenius, Smita of Hogger and Co, Elizabeth (mentioned above), Alex of Literally Everything, Janee of Yellow Bird Yellow Beard, and Emily of Shell Chic’d. It was such a fun group of ladies!
And now for the important part – what I ate! Our appetizers included tuna carpaccio with soy beans, arugula, blackberries, and lemon dressing, and two different types of bruschetta. For my main, I chose the spaghetti vongoli with clams, olive oil, and garlic. It was basically heaven. The chef also brought us a margherita pizza, chicken, and a dessert of our choice.
Give Pasta Beach a try. I promise you won’t regret it!
