Boston in October

The month of October has been wonderful for our family and I hope it’s been that way for you, too.  We’ve had fun exploring Boston, Cambridge and Salem (insane around Halloween, by the way), training Ollie has been going well and he’s acting like less of a psychopath when he sees other dogs, and I met two of my favorite bloggers in person! Not only did I meet these awesome ladies, but I was also able to take their photographs for my portfolio. I’m feeling more comfortable behind the lens and I’m pretty confident in my posing abilities. The next step? Building a photography website. Now, I’m no WordPress guru but I’ve been able to do a few simple things myself and that makes me feel like the smartest woman in the world! Yeehaw. Especially when I try explaining something to B and he has no idea what I’m talking about. Usually it’s the other way around when he’s talking about boring finance stuff and spreadsheets – in your face, husband!

What have you been up to lately?

Glad October has been going so well for you! If you have any question about setting up a site, let me know! I love helping people figure things out :)

Ooh, ooh – I have a question! How come everything is centered on my website but then when i look at it on my phone, it’s aligned to the left? it’s driving me nuts!

      • http://www.freeborboleta.com/ Fran

My guess is that your layout comes with a responsive design, also called media queries in the CSS, and on there there’s something over-writting the center-alignment OR the width is not set up properly for the content so the content width is smaller than it should be so everything is centered within the content wrap but the content is smaller than the width of the phone screen so a) it looks smaller than it should and b) content is usually float: left, so it’s all on the left side of the screen
