life’s little moments | snapshots from our first week in boston

Life's Little Moments
Boxes and suitcases are unpacked, the dogs are getting used to their new surroundings, and our apartment is slowly becoming a home. We’ve only been in Boston for little over a week but I think it’s safe to say we’re loving our temporary city.

The best part about moving to a different place every six or so months is having the chance to explore and experience new things. I already have a favorite coffee shop just down the street, we’ve found wonderful restaurants, and the weekend activities are endless.

What’s your favorite part about your city?

Nice snapshots! Good to read that you’re quickly getting used to your new city :)
I’m also trying to adapt to my new life in Basel but it’snot that easy with this never-ending rain. But the city is lovely and I love having the chance of traveling easily around Europe and daytriping as much as I want!

So glad you love Boston. I have never been but i imagine the fall season makes it even more stunning. I love in Toronto, and I love the buzz and the night time energy. The city really comes alive and there are beautiful pockets of artist communities. You should come visit!

ps. have you ever tried the Hazlenut Nespresso… it. is. to. die. for.

So glad you’re loving Boston! It’s one of my very favorite cities in the US :) My favorite thing about Jo’burg is how diverse it is… there really is something for everyone! xxx

So glad you’re liking Boston. I’ve been meaning to mention to you that you guys have to make it down to Newport, Rhode Island, only about 1.5 hours from Boston, while you’re there! It was our favorite destination when we did our New England trip in May! :)

I’m glad that you’re settling into Boston well! I think if it didn’t get so cold in the winter, I’d be there in a heartbeat! I’ve only visited it once but loved the city! It’s so smart — so many bookstores! Plus, I enjoy seafood and it has fun history! And very loyal sports fans… if only, if only. You’ll have to let us know how the people are! When I was there, I didn’t get to interact with many city natives and that’s a big consideration living somewhere! :) Hope you end up loving it, though!

Happy to hear you’re settling well! I’ve always loved Boston as a city. The doggies look quite content too :)

I love that my city has a fun art scene, a couple of old theatres turned funky cinemas (with old or foreign movies!), and I love the downtown market :)
