sponsor spotlight! and depression after finishing a good book

I just finished the books Divergent, Free Four {yes, I bought a chapter from Four’s view for 99 cents}, and Insurgent — and now my life has no meaning. If I can’t read Veronica Roth books all day, what am I supposed to do? Dishes? Laundry? That’s no fun. Yes, I have a problem. Because when I really get into a series I have to finish the books as soon as possible. And then I realize I’ve made a mistake and I’m sad. We went to a Coyotes hockey game last night, thanks to Jessa from Life of a Sports Wife, so that made everything a little bit better. But I won’t be happy until Fall 2013 {that’s when the new book is scheduled to be released}. Speaking of Jessa, you guys should check out her blog. Because being a sports wife is way more interesting than being a temporary housewife married to a financial analyst {you know things get crazy here}. I also have four more lovely ladies I’d like to introduce you to!
P.S. Thank you, Halie for introducing me to these books! My husband appreciated me not talking to him for days.

Moonlight Shimmer

guest post moonlight shimmer
My name is Julie and I design and make beaded jewelry under the business name of Moonlight Shimmer. My friends keep asking me where I find the time to make everything while I still have a regular full time job. I fit crafting sessions into my evenings or weekends usually. I love collecting beads, seeing the finished product, and taking photos. Etsy has been a great online venue for me to share my work and sell to other people.

My Mom’s a Whack Job

guest post my moms a whack job
I am Jules, I blog over at My Mom’s a Whack Job. I am a single mom to one eye rolling, smart ass, knows everything, my mom is an idiot, teenage girl and a sweet baby boy that takes all her abuse! I run a lot, I eat a lot, I cuss and I play hard. My life is far from perfect, my kids wear dirty clothes and I drink too much. I am a hot mess that thrives on the living life my way!

I hate that feeling after finishing a book! I have the Divergent series on my list, but I didn’t realize there was a 3rd book to come out still! I might just wait until it comes out, because I am SO impatient when it comes to that.

Hahaha, you’re so welcome :) But I definitely felt (and still feel) the same way when I finished them two weeks ago. I haven’t read Free Four yet, but maybe I need to go ahead and do that too. And do we really have to wait until the fall? I was hoping it would be summer. Ugh. Glad you loved them so much though!

I have these books on my “To-Read-Next” list and need to start already!! I love/hate ending an amazing series. It truly is serious depression and only readers get it! ;)

It’s so hard finishing a good book! I’ve read Divergent but haven’t started Insurgent. Is it just as good? If so, it will be my next kindle read (I already have it downloaded!). I’m finishing Sharp Edges by Gillian Flynn now and it’s just as thrilling as Gone Girl!
