baudelaire 2 in 1 oil absorbing primer + mask review

I’ve mentioned before that I have problem skin and it’s something that I’m constantly struggling with. Acne is frustrating enough, but the harsh state that topical creams leave my skin in is almost just as bad. My dermatologist prescribed two relatively strong products that leave my face very dry, but at the same time, seem to produce more oil, too. Since I’m constantly reaching for my oil absorbing sheets, I was eager to try Baudelaire’s 2 in 1 Oil Absorbing Primer + Mask. The formula is derived from sea water and suppresses oil build up, which I desperately need help with. And best of all? No parabens, oil, color, or fragrance. If you have sensitive skin like me, you don’t want a product with any of these.

baudelaire 2 in 1 oil absorbing primer + mask review
Primer: After cleansing, apply sparingly over the areas of your face prone to excess oil, avoiding the eye area. Follow with your regular makeup routine.

Mask: After cleansing, apply a generous layer over the areas of your face prone to excess oil, avoiding the eye area. Leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Follow with your regular skin routine.

I mostly used this product around my T-Zone {especially between my eyebrows} because that’s the area I need help with. Baudelaire didn’t cause my face to sting like other products, the primer didn’t feel stiff on my face, and it seemed to help with my oil issue; however, I hated trying to get the product out of the bottle! When I first used it, I had to pump the bottle a million times and it was messy coming out. I was expecting a gel or cream, but it was very watery.

Even though the bottle design isn’t the best, it worked! Baudelaire 2 in 1 is only $18, so I suggest you give it a try if you have problem skin like me.

Disclosure: I was sent this product to review on my blog. All opinions expressed are my own.

I have ridiculous combination skin but I am looking for a mask to try out. I’ll have to check this brand out to see if there is anything that might fit for me, too!
