friday’s letters {this month is going by too fast}

Dear House Hunters International, Thank you for reminding me that I still cannot understand Scottish accents, even after living in Aberdeen for a year.  Dear Readers, On more than one occasion this week, I started composing a new post in the middle of the night… while I was halfway asleep. I feel like this has been happening more often because our bed isn’t big enough for a 6’2″ 6’3″ {B just told me he’s taller, hmpphhh} husband and two dogs who like to spread out, snore and toot; therefore, I don’t sleep. After a while, I end up deleting the posts because if I didn’t {and happened to hit publish}, you guys would think I was either drunk, insane, or both. Actually… this could be amusing… Dear Life, I want to move abroad and become a yoga instructor/travel photographer. You think you can help me out with this? Speaking of yoga… Dear New Yoga Instructor, You’re borderline creepy! … but I learn a lot. Sigh. Dear Toby, You have your first adoption event this weekend and I’m secretly hoping you act like a jerk. Maybe you should throw a doggie tantrum while nice families are looking at you? Bark incessantly? Pee on a shoe or two? I’d like to keep you forever… Dear Husband, I know you love Toby as much as I do. What shall we do? Dear Nespresso Machine, I am forever yours.

    I went trough a phase where I would get a great post idea in the middle of the night. Too bad hubs is a VERY light sleeper and would ask each of the ten times I would get up what I was doing .I need to be more sneaky. Good luck on ‘accidentally’ keeping that puppy of yours!

    I know exactly what you’re going through with your foster! I felt the same way about mine, and now he’s a permanent member of my family. This is also the reason why I am no longer allowed to foster dogs!

    The scottish accent is one of the hardest to understand I think. I also dream of becoming a yoga instructor and a travel photographer. Your blog is really cute.
