Last weekend we flew from Aberdeen to Dulles International Airport with a short layover in Amsterdam. And so did our dog! Since we will be traveling nonstop our last month or so in the UK, my parents volunteered to watch our sweet puppy, Malcolm until we get settled in Phoenix. A decision I believe they’re regretting already, because as our vet in Aberdeen put it, our dog is a “basket of frogs”. Not exactly a compliment.

When we were reunited with our Scottish West Highland White Terrier {who wasn’t too happy with us since he was stuck in the cargo hold the entire flight} we rented a car and made our way down to Knoxville, TN for my cousin’s wedding. There’s nothing I love more than taking road trips through beautiful scenery and spending quality time with family. The trip was far too short because we were on another long flight back to the UK a few days later, but we were at least able to witness my cousin’s special day and spend time in the Smoky Mountains.

Yes, my younger sister is taller than me.

I was obsessed with taking photos of my cousin, the flower girl. Adorable!

And of course, here are a few from instagram.
